Taste of Japan was held at Auckland Museum to give the attendees an idea of Japanese food and culture. There was a movie screening of Studio Ghlibi's Ponyo, sushi making workshop, tatami making demonstrations, and many more. We were there with our organic tofu which were popular with the Japanese community. There were also several Japanese restaurants who were serving their best menu at the event, such as Takara Ramen and Soi. Those who went surely had a good meal!
Have a 'taste' of Japanese culture and food! Performances such as taiko, demonstrations such as wagashi making, workshops such as origami and sushi making, and many more!
Visit Taste of Japan 2012 at Auckland Museum on 27/10/12. We will be having a food stall there, so come visit us! Organic tofu and vegan food available. In October, we introduced our new product, Organic Tempeh. This traditional Indonesian food is high in protein and in vitamin B12. With a texture more chewy (as compared to tofu), it is usually marinated then pan-fried. Serve on its own or as burger patties!
We also had new stockists. 1. Fresh food market Farro Fresh - fresh food markets deserve fresh organic products like ours, so visit your local Farro Fresh store today! 2. IE Produce, New Zealand’s first Bio-Gro Certified organic fresh retailer, located in Takapuna has also started stocking our products. For those living in the north, we hope this will mean our products are nearer to you now. On 27 October, we will be at the event Taste of Japan, held at the Auckland Museum. See next post.
